Data collection
Unolocus does not directly collect or store users' personal information. All calculators process inputs in your browser and never transmit them to our servers. There is no account or sign-up feature, so identifying information such as name, email, or phone number is not collected. When inputs are preserved via URL query parameters (e.g., ?salary=50000000), this only becomes externally visible through the user's explicit sharing action (copying or sending the URL).
Cookies and local storage
This site uses cookies for analytics, advertising, and user preferences. Cloudflare Web Analytics aggregates non-identifying pageviews without cookies. Google Analytics 4 is used for anonymized IP-based traffic analysis (_ga, _gid cookies). Google AdSense uses cookies for ad delivery, frequency capping, and measurement (e.g., __gads, __gpi). User preferences such as currency selection are stored in cookies valid for one year. localStorage and sessionStorage are not used. You may block cookies in your browser settings; doing so may prevent some analytics data from being collected.
Third-party services
This site uses Cloudflare (CDN, hosting, DDoS protection, analytics), Google Analytics 4 (traffic analysis), Google AdSense (ad delivery), and affiliate marketing partners such as Klook and Booking (data is shared only when you click an outbound link). Each service has its own privacy policy, and by using this site you are deemed to consent to those policies as well.
Advertising and personalized ads
Google AdSense and other third-party advertisers may serve interest-based ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising at https://adssettings.google.com and disable interest-based ads from multiple ad networks at once at https://aboutads.info/choices. Users in the EU, EEA, and UK may see a separate consent dialog under GDPR.
User rights
Because users do not enter personal data and the operator does not store identifying information, no separate procedure for data access, correction, or deletion rights is required. However, if you need to exercise rights granted under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), the EU GDPR, California's CCPA, or similar laws, please contact contact@unolocus.com and we will respond within 7 business days.
Children
This site is not directly targeted at children under 14. If a guardian becomes aware of a child's use and believes this site has collected a child's personal information, please contact contact@unolocus.com and we will promptly investigate and take appropriate action.
Data retention
Because the operator does not store user-identifying data on its servers, no retention period policy applies on our side. Retention periods for third-party analytics and advertising services follow each service's own policy (for example, Google Analytics defaults to 14 months).
Policy changes
If this privacy policy changes, we will update the "last updated" date on this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice via the site header or footer. If you do not agree to the revised policy, you may discontinue using the service.
