Visa-free entrants generally still need K-ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization), but nationals of some countries are temporarily exempt through 31 Dec 2026, and travelers aged 17 or under or 65 or over are exempt. What is K-ETA?

Korea Electronic Travel Authorization, required in advance for visa-free entrants. Exemptions are listed below.

  • · Exempt: ages 17 and under or 65 and over, and nationals of some countries temporarily exempt through 31 Dec 2026 (check on the application screen)
  • · Check validity period, application timing, and rejection reasons on the official K-ETA site
